Frances Aylen set up her Spring Street practice in 2003 having worked for a number of different multi-disciplinary practices. She has just left a children's clinic in Reading that she set up in 1999 to start one in North London NW5 as it is closer to home. She is a structural and cranial osteopath, specialising in treating babies and children and pregnant mothers. However, she is happy treating any structural problem that adults present with!

Frances Aylen is a registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) who qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) 1995-1999. She has also qualified as a spiritual healer with a diploma from The College of Psychic Studies 2004-2006, recognised by the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH). She has completed six post-graduate diplomas in Cranial osteopathy and Paediatric osteopathy and tutors at the BSO in Cranial osteopathy at a post graduate level. She has a background in Swedish massage and aromatherapy, which she studied at the Clare Maxwell-Hudson School of massage 1993-1994.

She worked on the terminal cancer wards at the Royal Marsden. She also has a BA and MA in English Literature from Oxford University 1999-2002 and worked as a journalist for The Observer.

Frances has a special interest in kundalini yoga which she has practised since 1993 and in jive and salsa dancing.
